Kyle Subsuming yet, at times, weightless, Ominous Multitudes demands the listener's attention. Ranging from centered, overwhelming drones to panned, subtle ambiances, all of which from found objects, this attention to detail is this album's primary highlight, yet neither extreme overstay their welcome – a fluid amalgamation. Strangely, this isolation has a haunting allure: you feel at home therein. Play it in the dark.

Matthew Wilson This is an experience that will take you places that you did not expect to go. Put on some headphones, turn off the lights, and go for this ride. All of the sounds you hear were creatively constructed, and masterfully mixed to activate both the unsettling and blissful aspects of this existence. A Silent House for the Genius is a project dedicated to creating immersive audio experiences for the listener. Our music is meticulously composed, recorded, mixed and mastered with this specific goal in mind, relying heavily on field recordings, found sounds, and experimental audio manipulation techniques to craft a unique journey through soundscapes that are different every time they are explored. These experiences are greatly altered by the perceptual state of the listener, as well. With proper attention and dedication to establishing the correct set and setting, this audio can be quite psychedelic and even transcendent. This is why we recommend ONLY listening to our music with headphones, preferably in total darkness.

A bath tub filling and emptying, recorded with an underwater aquaphone. A radiator hissing. A refrigerator breathing. A camera case in the washing machine. Wooden floor boards creaking in a late Victorian era home. The Sonic Forest. A Berkey water filter drum. Wind chimes made of sea shells. A row of necklaces swaying back and forth. Sharp fingernails dragged across photo paper. A Space Phone. Industrial metal chain. Elevator hum. A motorcycle screeching. A glass top, spinning on marble.
